The Albertville Police Department (APD) is responsible for enforcement of state and local laws in the City of Albertville and has the primary responsibility for enforcement of the Municipal Code.

The Albertville Police Department is an agency that proudly provides the 26,000 residents of Albertville, Alabama with services that are courteous, consistent, thorough, and professional. The foundation of this agency is the protection of the worth, dignity, and rights of all of those served.

The mission of the Albertville Police Department is to be responsive to the changing needs of our citizens, to protect life and property, preserve the Constitutional rights of every citizen and enforce the laws of the United States of America and the State of Alabama. Members of the Albertville Police Department shall strive to accomplish this mission within the constraints of the law, with the respect for human dignity and in accordance with the highest standards of performance and accountability.
